Mr. Santosh Kumar Shukla took charge as Executive Director, IBBI on October 19, 2020. He is presently handling portfolio comprising of Inspection & Monitoring and Research & Advocacy Divisions. He has wide experience in the field of law, finance, securities, and banking industry.

In IBBI, he is on deputation from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the securities markets regulator. In SEBI, he was responsible for SEBI’s policy initiatives and legislation that affects the securities industry in India or SEBI’s authority. He was also handling enforcement actions, enquiries and adjudication and was a part of several Committees for suggesting policy initiatives for securities industry.
