Pooja Bahry was the 3^rd women Insolvency Professional in India and has been handling cases under IBC since early 2017. Being an alumni of SRCC (Shri Ram College of Commerce), Delhi University and a Gold Medalist, she is very well conversant with all the laws in relation to NPA Resolution, Insolvency and Liquidation, having immense experience in Stressed Assets Management. Earlier she was a consultant for banks and Financial Institutions for many years, and had assisted more than 47 Banks and Financial Institutions to resolve / turn around cases of approximately Rs 11000 crores, under the SARFAESI Act. She has successfully handled 8 cases under IBC and even during the COVID period, 4 Resolution Plans had been approved in the cases being handled by her. Currently she is handling the matter of United News of India, which is the second largest News Agency of the India and is making all endevours to revive back the long-ailing company. Her integrity, diligence and high standard of values and morals are very well known in the banking and financial industry. The topper of her school Springdales School and college Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), she has received various awards , especially relating to her high standards of ethics and values. Various landmark jurisprudence have been formed in cases being handled by her under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code.

She has more than 20 years of unblemished specialized experience and strategic advantage in Stressed Asset Management, Resolution and Restructuring of NonPerforming Assets and also has a very good experience in management of running units / management of a corporate debtor as Going concern, sale/auction of assets and other allied activities etc

She is on the panel of the most of the banks and Financial institutions, as an Insolvency Professional under the IBC.

She also regularly acts as a Faculty on behalf of IBBI, various IPAs, Government authorities, MCA, Taxation authorities, Law universities, Banks etc to give lectures and sessions on IBC and the Insolvency process and has immense experience in complete understanding of the law. In fact, various landmark jurisprudence have been formed in cases being handled by her under IBC, especially with reference to contributions received under Preferential Transactions, regarding Fraudulent transactions, regarding applicability of Capital Gain Tax during Liquidation etc.
